How much do awnings slope down? Awnings can be sloped to any angle from 15-35 degrees and can be anywhere between this to suit you. How high should an awning be placed? The suggested mounting height is 2.5m/3.5m above the ground. If considering a lower installation, ensure ample headroom when the awning is fully extended, and confirm that doors or windows can open freely. The vertical dimension of the fixing bracket measures approximately 20cm. Additionally, our awnings offer a good amount of versatility; they can be mounted to eaves or a horizontal surface using a ceiling/balcony bracket. Can awnings be installed on brickwork? Yes, however, if they have older bricks or reconstituted brickwork that isn't as sturdy as standard masonry, they may require the a resin kit. If you have the blinds so that the light strips are aligned in the front and back and it is dark outside and light inside then people may be able to see in your home.
