How much do awnings slope down? Awnings can be sloped to any angle from 15-35 degrees and can be anywhere between this to suit you. How high should an awning be placed? The suggested mounting height is 2.5m/3.5m above the ground. If considering a lower installation, ensure ample headroom when the awning is fully extended, and confirm that doors or windows can open freely. The vertical dimension of the fixing bracket measures approximately 20cm. Additionally, our awnings offer a good amount of versatility; they can be mounted to eaves or a horizontal surface using a ceiling/balcony bracket. Can awnings be installed on brickwork? Yes, however, if they have older bricks or reconstituted brickwork that isn't as sturdy as standard masonry, they may require the a resin kit. Furthermore, they really should not be drilled into mortar. Can awnings be installed on breeze blocks? The feasibility will depend on the type of breeze blocks they possess. If they have low or medium density blocks, installation may not be possible. However, with high-density breeze blocks, it should be feasible, provided they use a resin kit.
